Those who claim there is a “right” to health care want socialized medicine, a malignant system that will destroy our health-care freedom permanently, and put every American under the power of health-care bureaucrats with absolute powers over your health care, and over your life or death (just ask people in England or Canada with loved ones who died waiting on health-care ‘death lists’ in these socialized-medicine countries).
Ive been watching the Obama health-care-scam conference with the socialist Democrats and hapless Republicans. Obama, the marxist community organizer, knows he now can’t ram government-controlled socialized medicine down our throats, not after the Democrats lost the Senate race in Massachusetts. So he’ll use the back-door stealth tactic of ‘reforming’ the health-care system with escalating government regulations on insurance companies, doctors, hospitals, and the rest of the allegedly ‘free-market’ health-care system.
Obama the marxist, and our liberal-Democrat Congressmen, want you to believe we have an evil free-market health-care system. We have insurance companies who won’t insure people with pre-existing conditions, health-insurance premiums that are too high, millions of people who don’t have or can’t afford health insurance, etc. So we allegedly have to ‘fix’ the ‘evil’ health-insurance companies by strangling them with more regulations, such as forbidding them from refusing people with pre-existing conditions, etc.
The hapless Republicans also go along with the notion that we have to ‘fix’ the ‘flawed’ free-market health-care system. They go along with Obama’s socialist notion that people have a “right” to health care, and that if health-insurance companies won’t insure that right, then government should force them to.
Republicans, please listen up. You will lose your fight with the Democrats if you agree with their socialist premise that all people have a “right” to health care. There is no such “right”. Health care does not grow free on trees. Doctors, nurses, hospitals, drug companies, pharmacies have to be paid for their products and services. If they are not, they go bankrupt. If someone claims they have the “right” to health care, they are saying that all other Americans have a moral obligation to pay for their health care if they can’t afford their own. That is, they claim that Americans are their brother’s keepers, whether they like it or not.
Are we our brother’s keepers, and if we say no, does government have the right to force us to be? Does a government bureaucrat have the right to rob you through taxes to pay for someone else’s health care? Why does someone else who is having a health problem, or doesn’t have enough money to pay for his current health-care bills (including illegal aliens), have a claim on your hard-earned money and your life? If your neighbor said they need a car and can’t afford it, do you have a moral obligation to pay for their car? No? Then if your neighbor gets together with a million other people who can’t afford a car, and lobbies Congress to pass a car “voucher” program, does your neighbor still have the right to steal your money for a new car, only with government tax agents as his enforcer to take your money?
There is no right to steal from your neighbor for something YOU want or need, because IT’S NOT YOUR MONEY. Any mugger on the street who robs you at the point of a gun also wants your money for something he wants or needs. Your hard-luck neighbor, or a special-interest group he belongs to who lobbies Congress to pass a law to take your money for HIS health care, housing rent, or college tuition for his kids, is therefore no different than that mugger on the street. They BOTH claim the right to take your hard-earned money without your consent to ‘redistribute’ to whomever the marxist Obama clan wants to have your money.
Moreover, the way to ‘fix’ the health care system is to take government’s hands off the health-care industry completely. We don’t have a free-market health-care system in this country. That’s an Obama straw-man. We have a semi-socialist system that is already being strangled to death by thousands of local, state, and federal regulations. Doctors, hospitals, medical schools, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance companies all have to obey thousands of health-care regulations that choke off the life-giving free market in health care. If we got rid of all those regulations, and forbid government from enacting any health-care regulations, then a true health-care free-market with fierce competition would give the vast majority of Americans quality, low-cost health care and complete freedom of choice (see ”The Welfare State: No Mercy For The Middle Class”, at http://www.mykidsdeservebetter.com/front-page/welfare-state-book).
Yet at Obama’s health-care ‘conference,’ all I hear from both liberal-Democrats and Republicans, is how we need to ‘fix’ the health-care system with more strangling regulations on the health-care industry. The hapless Republicans, as usual, simply ask for less regulations than the Democrats. But they accept the liberal-Democrats deadly premise that government has to control and ‘fix’ an allegedly ‘broken’ health-care system, a system that has been broken not by the insurance companies, but by government strangulation of the free market. That is, government is the problem, not the solution. Get government out of the health-care and health-insurance business, and the free-market would give Americans the best, lowest cost health care in the world.

Well, I would welcome socialized medicine. Then at least I could get the medical treatment I can’t afford. Aside from your ranting and falsely claiming Obama is a Socialist, what’s your solution for people like me? Or is the answer the Republican health care proposal: don’t get sick and if you do, die quickly?
