School Horror Story Submission

Joel Turtel/Liberty Books, publisher of this blog, reserves the right to publish your school horror story on the blog or not to publish it, based on the content.

We appreciate your submitting this story to our blog. By posting this story you agree that you give us the right to publish your story on the blog. You also agree that you are giving Joel Turtel, author, and/or Liberty Books or another publisher, the right to publish your school horror story in a future book that Joel Turtel may write and publish (Joel will send you a copy of the book if/when it is published).

At the end of your written story, please indicate whether we, (1) can publish your full name, (2) can only publish your first name and last name initial, or (3) can only publish the city where you live in to identify who wrote this school horror story, either for publishing your story on this blog, or in a future book that will be published. You also hold Joel Turtel/Liberty Books harmless from other people’s reactions to, or responses to your story.

You also agree not to write the name of any teacher or other public-school official involved in your story, but to use only the general terms of “teacher”, “principal”, “school nurse”, etc. to describe this person — Example: This “teacher”, or “principal” of my school did this or that . . . etc, so as to protect the privacy of this teacher or other school official. You agree to allow edit of the original article where I must replace any reference you make to a specific person by using general terms as exampled above.
